How does the thinking of a one-year-old child work?

 

Just up to the age of 3-4 years, the world of the child himself and the world around him are united and not separated from each other. Parents or educators are only part of this world, they are not recognized as having their own feelings, any interests, or their own life in general. If an adult has disappeared somewhere for a while, he is temporarily “crossed out” to some strange place “work”, or “business”.

  His whole Universe is so far what he himself sees, feels, and fantasizes. The range of his interests is outlined only by what is connected with him personally. Even spatial orientation for him is applicable only in relation to himself. That is, all these “above”, “under” and other “from above - from below” are perceived by the child only in relation to himself, otherwise the baby simply will not learn the meaning of these words. Otherwise, he is not yet able to understand.

Any means of “intrusion” into the reality of the child by adults with the aim of “doing good” will be perceived by him as one of the “events of his world”, and not as a dialogue with a “different mind”. Until he conceives it as a dialogue with some separate entities, this is still ahead.

At this age, the child's world is similar to a kind of closed, transparent sphere, all knowledge about what is happening outside this sphere is limited to the information that the baby receives when the child "rolls" this sphere with him in space, colliding with some objects or obstacles. . Out there, some people are doing something, trying to talk about something, but it's certainly entertaining and nothing more. In the world of a child, as you understand, at this moment there is only one person - this is himself. Of course, if the action "outside" was strong enough, it is certainly taken into account, but taking into account only that separate reality in which the baby now lives.

Another important feature of the child, unlike an adult, he does not know how to distinguish reality from fiction. He does not separate objective reality from dreams, imagination, or fantasies. The real and the unreal will be intertwined in the mind of the child inseparably. There are no clear boundaries between what is fantasy or imagination and what is or can be reality. This is all the same reality for him. This period of fairy tale and reality, two in one, lasts up to 6 years. Only after six will he be able to distinguish between this and that.

Как устроено мышление ребенка первых лет жизни?

Как раз до возраста 3-4 лет мир самого ребенка и мир вокруг едины и не отделены друг от друга. Родители или воспитатели — это только часть этого мира, за ними не признается наличие собственных чувств, каких-то интересов, вообще собственной жизни. Если взрослый куда-то исчез на время, отлучился он временно «вычеркивается» в какое-то странное место «работа», «дела».

 Вся его Вселенная – это пока то, что он сам видит, чувствует и фантазирует. Круг его интересов очерчен только тем, что связано с ним лично. Даже пространственная ориентация для него применима только по отношению к нему самому. То есть все эти «над», «под» и прочие «сверху – снизу» воспринимаются ребенком только по отношению к нему самому, в противном случае малыш просто не усвоит значение этих слов. Иначе он, пока, не способен понимать.

Любые способы «вторжения» в реальность ребенка со стороны взрослых с целью «причинить благо» будут восприняты им как одно из «событий его мира», а не как диалог с «иным разумом». Пока он не осмысливает это как диалог с некими отдельными сущностями, это еще впереди.

В этом возрасте мир ребенка похож на некую замкнутую, прозрачную сферу, все знания о том, что происходит вне этой сферы ограничены теми сведениями, которые малыш получает при «перекатывании» этой сферы вместе с ним в пространстве, сталкиваясь с какими-то объектами или препятствиями. Там снаружи, какие-то люди что-то делают, о чем-то пытаются говорить, но это конечно занимательно и не более того. В мире ребенка, как вы понимаете, на этот момент есть только один человек – это он сам. Конечно, если действие «снаружи» было достаточно сильным в учет оно безусловно принимается, но с учетом только той отдельной реальности в которой сейчас живет малыш.

Ещё одна немаловажная особенность ребенка, в отличии от взрослого он не умеет отличить реальность от вымысла. Он не разделяет объективную реальность от снов, игры воображения, фантазий. Реальное и нереальное будут переплетены в сознании дитя нераздельно. Не разделены четкими границами то, что является фантазией или игрой воображения и то что есть на самом деле или может быть реальностью. Это все пока для него единая действительность. Этот период сказки и реальности, - два в одном, длится аж до 6 лет. Только после шести он сможет проводить границу между тем и этим.

Play dough instructions for parents (first approach to salty dough)

Dear parents!

It is visual instruction for parents to approach salty dough with your children. Salty dough has a long history, but now it is common in every home where are young children as a Plasticine, any type of clay or actually Play dough. dough is my favourite because it is everything in one box - math, language, logical thinking, science and art. Moreover, it is amazing activity which engage children and parents to spend time together. Video is 22 minutes long, so get one hour your spare time to create with your child something very special.

Salty dough the easiest way to sculpture.

My dear friends! This post on how you need to prepare for our next activity. Unlike the previous activity, there is no dangers, so the task of parents is to prepare materials, tools and just follow my next post!

So, be ready to have on your working table:

- flour in the container (to easily get it);

-water, in a bowl with a wide neck (to easily get it);

- fine table salt, any brand;

- any measuring container (it can be a measuring cup, coffee cup - remember it might be dropped and broken - do not give your favourite, a small container for dressing, any container is about 100-150 grams)

- a bowl and a spoon (mix ingredients);

- a board for modelling (any cutting board, you can use half of the plastic binder);

-tools: plastic knife, spoon, fork, table knife (not sharp, so it will be safe for your child), school scissors, convenient for the child, rolling pin for the dough;

- paper napkins or towels;

-good mood (very important😊)

Be prepared that something may mess or spill and remind the child that this is his or her activity, but you, of course, will help clean it up.

Through this activity we will learning concept of full, half filled, count, manipulate, expand logical and cognitive thinking.

Are you ready to decorate eggs?

My dear friends! We can start online session in a convenient time but you should be prepared for master class.So you need:

                

Colouring solution + container  to dip eggs in solution;

Wax crayons (my students found out that Crayola works the best);

Candle on the plate or tray;

Stick with head pin in it;

Good to have loop to manage egg in colouring, but you can use a spoon for it;

First, and for youngest children may be used plain stick thin and ticker, if you have a pin with ball just push it in stick on top. Nail instead pin also works.

And, last but not least - warmer for wax.

Today, I was so exited to see that my students made it very easy:

Fill up the jar with water ( it will be more stable), and fix one or two spoons on top with tape. Than more spoons you fixed on top than more colours of wax you can melt.

Arrange warmer as showed on the picture and light candle. Put few small pieces of wax crayon in spoon and explore how it melt in a spoon. Wax should not boil, just melt.

  

When wax melted dip the stick in a wax and make a dots on the eggs. If possible use different colours of wax. wait until wax completely dry and dip the egg in liquid colouring. Keep few minutes, take out and dry with paper towel.

Today was such a wonderful sunny day, real spring! Bright green leaves of tulips show up from the moist black earth, the sky is so high and blue, and we are still locked in our homes, even more than before.

And yet, no matter how sad it is to sit at home, no one cancelled the wonderful spring holiday - Easter.

What does our Canadian children associate with this Holiday? Of course - colourful eggs!

You can paint paper eggs with markers, you can paint plastic eggs with paint ...

Or, you can try to paint real eggs with hot wax and, believe me - beyond all religious beliefs, this is a fascinating activity for children and adults.

Of course, this painting requires certain skills and special tools, but we will try to make it with any stuff available in any home. After all, did you stock up with colouring for eggs? Then everything else, I am sure, can be found at your home. We will try to conduct our online master class in a few days later. For the beginning, try to collect the necessary materials. You will need:

- stainless steel spoon (which is not used any more)

- a jar or a bottle with water

- paper tape

- candle

- wax crayons

- jars with liquid colouring for eggs 

- any wooden stick

- pin with the ball

Wow ... well, that’s it!

Oh, I forgot - a toilet paper roll 😀 (did you stock up?) Or just napkins - to dry the eggs.

It’s not difficult to paint eggs, even 4-5-year-old children are able to do this, of course, under the supervision of adults because we will work with a candle, open fire.

It is time for Spring...

Yesterday was amazing weather. Children were playing outside and enjoyed bright sunshine. But today dark clouds covered sky and looks like winter still does not want to retreat...
OK, lets make something special!
Today we making a little Sun out of salty dough.

Two cups of flour

One cup of salt

One cup of warm water - easy!

Measure ingredients - So much fun!

We knead the dough for about five minutes to get rid of the air inside, otherwise our Sun may crack.

We knead the ball into a pancake (not very thin, we still need to put a stick in );

Making long stick like your finger, divide into equal pieces (we consider who got how much😊)

We make short sticks from the pieces and glue them  on the pancake with the water.

Gently turn over to burlap fabric or fine mesh and put a barbecue stick in.

Let your masterpiece dry on a wire rack for 3-4 days, or dry in an oven at T 120 * F for 2-4 hours.

We usually paint our works when they are completely dry with acrylic paint, but this time we tried water colour on raw dough. The result exceeded all expectations!

Push the stick in a flower pot and enjoy your own Sun in your house😊🥰

Today we were talking about Nature and Summer flowers. Children in Preschool 2 were painting with watercolour Summer flowers.

Обрядовые печенья-обереги КОЗУЛИ (калядашки, коровки, крендельки...) Анна Дорогавцева  •  Все записи пользователя в сообществе 21 декабря 2010, 22:37  •  Новогодние и рождественские блюда прочитала я давно в одном журнале рецептик такого печенья и мы с сыном решили их сделать к новогодним праздникам)) немного информации: готовили козули на славянские праздники, связанные с зимним солнцестоянием и Новым годом, и позднее - на Святки. Сам процесс выпечки козуль был частью обряда. Готовили калядашки всей семьей. Ими украшали елку, козульки дарили друзьям, давали детям играть, но несколько козуль-оберегов обязательно оставляли в доме до следующего года. Козули обладают еще одной удивительной особенностью - они не портятся. Прошлогодние козули можно кушать без опаски Мы соблюли весь ритуал - по рецепту приготовили тесто, готовили в хорошем настроении всей семьей)) даже пришедшего папу с работы привлекли к лепке)) получилось красиво и ароматно... рецепт: 1 стакан меда 2 стакана сахара 2 стакана воды 100г сливочного масла 1г корицы гвоздика (немного, я крошила несколько "шариков") 1 кг муки +/- 200г (ржаной или пшеничной грубого помола) - я брала чуть оставшейся гречневой, пшеничную обычную и ржаную смешайте мед, сахар и воду. В древних рецептах предлагается кипятить их "до бурой окраски". Затем нужно процедить смесь. Когда она остынет до 70 градусов положите слиочное масло. Туда же замесите муку. Добавьте пряности и получившийся колобок вынесите на 1 час на холод. После чего тесто станет пластичным вроде пластилина. Из него раскатайте жгутики и сложите из них различные фигурки. Теперь всю эту красоту выложите на противень и выпекайте при 210-220 градусах в течение 10 минут, чтобы козули зарумянились. мне очень понравилось лепить и придумывать фигурки)) правда, теста получилось очень много, на три противня, фантазии хватило на 2))) потом подключила мужа, а сама уже начала повторяться)) ребенок не особо увлекся, слепил одну колбаску закрутил и ушел)) хотя вертелся рядом, требовал пробовать тесто. в общем, отличное предновогоднее семейное занятие. люблю такие мероприятия, но... к сожалению, есть одно "но": печенье пока теплое, было мягким, потом затвердело (в рецепте об этом предупреждали, а также сказали, что дня через 3 оно должно стать мягким). наше затвердело так, что им можно гвозди забивать!!! перспектив, что послезавтра оно чудесным образом станет мягким, я не наблюдаю. конечно, здорово, что можно вешать на елку и дарить друзьям, как сувениры-обереги, но у нас мешок этих "оберегов"!!! и я надеялась, что они будут съедобными))) все-таки ж печеньки, хоть и обрядовые. мож, кто-нить подскажет чудесный рецепт, как помочь им стать помягче или все совсем безнадежно? я так предполагаю, что они должны отсыреть чтоли... просто я ожидала немного другого, буду рада, если опытные хозяйки помогут)) заранее спасибо))

How to start embroidery?

Soon Spring is coming and we will congratulate our Moms; we decided to create a biscornu. Do you know what is that?
According to Wiki A biscornu is a small, 8-sided, stuffed ornamental pincushion, usually made out of Aida cloth or linen. Embroidery or cross-stitch is used to decorate the top and bottom of the cushion. A button is typically secured in the center of the cushion to give a small depression on the top. Beads, tassels and other objects can decorate the biscornu. They are typically able to fit in the palm of your hand. The name is derived from the French adjective, biscornu, meaning skewed, quirky or irregular.

Now we need to learn how to stitch. The best way as we could see was stitching on burlap fabric.
